The core of pattern production of carbon steel patterned plate is achieved through rolling process, that is, using rollers with specific pattern grooves to "press" the pattern onto the surface of the steel plate during hot rolling or cold rolling of the steel plate.
According to the different rolling temperatures of steel plates, it is mainly divided into two categories: hot rolling pattern process and cold rolling pattern process.
Hot-rolled pattern is the most mainstream method for carbon steel patterned plates, accounting for more than 90%. The core principle is to directly roll out raised patterns through pattern rollers after the steel billet is heated.
Hot-rolled patterning process:
1.Select standard carbon structural steel billets
2. Feed into a heating furnace
3.The heated billets are first rolled into thicker steel plate blanks
4.The steel plate blanks enter the patterning mill, where the metal on the plate surface is "extruded" into a raised pattern
5.The patterned steel plate enters a cooling bed for natural cooling
In summary, the pattern production of carbon steel checkered plate is mainly based on hot rolling process, and the core is to achieve one-piece molding through "heating softening + pattern roller pressing" to ensure the strength and practicality of the pattern.
